Roles :
As the Director of Data Management Services Business Unit P&L you will be responsible for creating executing and managing the business unit's strategy to maximize growth and profitability. You will oversee all aspects of the unit including sales operations client relationships and financial performance. This role requires a deep understanding of data management services and the ability to drive strategic initiatives to achieve financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the unit in alignment with the company's overall goals.
Identify growth opportunities and market trends within the data governance services sector.
Establish partnership engagement with popular data governance product organizations such as data bricks
snowflake etc.
2. Revenue Growth:
Build a solid hunting strategy around acquiring new clients and crossselling data governance services in
existing accounts.
Foster strong client relationships ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with the crossfunctional teams to develop pricing strategies and proposals.
3. P&L Leadership:
Develop and own the P&L for the Data Management Services Business Unit.
Set and achieve financial targets including revenue and profit margins.
Onboard relevant skills or facilitate training/certifications for existing resources to build a fully functional data services business unit
4. Operational Excellence:
Manage the operational aspects of the business unit ensuring efficient service delivery and highquality
outcomes.
Implement best practices process improvements and quality assurance measures.
Monitor project progress timelines and budgets to meet client expectations.
5. Team Leadership:
Build and lead a highperforming team by recruiting training and developing talent.
Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular performance feedback.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture within the business unit.
6. Client Advocacy:
Act as the primary point of contact for key clients understanding their needs and driving clientfocused
solutions.
Gather client feedback and translate it into actionable improvements and opportunities.
