Business Development Specialist (Fashion and Lifestyle Brand)

Position Overview: As a Business Development Specialist for our fashion and lifestyle brand you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing growth opportunities forging strategic partnerships and expanding the brands market presence. This role requires a dynamic and resultsdriven individual with a deep understanding of the fashion industry and a proven track record in business development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
    • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities market trends and
    • competitive landscapes.
    • Analyze customer behavior and preferences to uncover untapped markets and niche segments.
  2. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the brands goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to set shortterm and longterm business development targets.
  3. Partnership Development:
    • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with retailers distributors and other key players in the fashion and lifestyle industry.
    • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  4. Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Drive sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies for new and existing markets.
  5. New Market Entry:
    • Explore and evaluate opportunities for entering new markets both domestically and internationally.
    • Develop market entry plans and coordinate implementation strategies.
  6. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients retailers and partners.
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and new business opportunities.
  7. Brand Expansion:
    • Explore avenues for brand expansion including product line extensions collaborations and licensing opportunities.
    • Develop and execute plans to enhance the brands visibility and reach.
  8. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets for business development initiatives ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Monitor and report on the financial performance of business development activities.
  9. Crossfunctional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with various departments including marketing product development and operations to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
    • Provide insights and feedback to support the overall growth of the brand.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development preferably within the fashion and lifestyle industry.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Resultsoriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with retail channels distribution networks and ecommerce.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills


Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Proven experience in business development, preferably within the fashion and lifestyle industry. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Familiarity with retail channels, distribution networks, and e-commerce. Strong communication and presentation skills
