Our client is a civil/structural engineering consultancy firm that specializes in structural engineering consultancy and project management services. They carry out structural assessment of buildings with a skilled team of engineers and administrative teams. Due to expansion they are currently in need of a Business Development Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities:
Developing growth strategies and plans
Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
Increasing client base
Having an indepth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Writing business proposals
Negotiating with stakeholders
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
Following industry trends locally and internationally
Drafting and reviewing contracts
Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
Ability to interface with regulatory bodies
Ability to follow up with registration requirement
Job Requirements:
B.Sc. in Marketing Social Science or relevant field with 23 years of relevant
experience.
Highlevel communication/Interpersonal skills
Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy.
The ability to selfmotivate and motivate a team
Development Strategy
Proposal Writing
Growth Strategies and Exceeding Targets
Experience working to and exceeding targets
Interpersonal skills out going
Use of Microsoft office and suites
