We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in Europe to develop the Netherland s market. As BDM you will be responsible for building up the relationship with customers to generate big opportunities and offer new Technologies Services.
The BDM will be the lead contact point for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, and uncover new opportunities to contribute to the company s success.
S/he provides after-sales support to retain customers and ensures prompt and accurate answers to clients queries. The role provides accurate sales forecasts to the Managing Director, negotiates contracts with prospective clients and contributes to client visits and pre-sales demonstrations.
Tasks
- Lead the sales and new client acquisition effort by researching new marketing initiatives, organizations, and individuals to identify new opportunities.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with key stakeholders, present capabilities/services, and close contracts with potential customers to bring revenue to the company.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met.
- Train personnel and help team members develop their skills.
- Work with related departments to ensure contracts and services are delivered as crafted and meet the customers requirements
- Analyze opportunities and threats for the organization, i.e., detect opportunities for growth in sales or project expansion, etc. Similarly, look for possible threats
and work towards avoiding them.
Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience in IT Account Management, Sales, or related domain
- University degree in IT Engineering or Business Administration, Marketing etc.
- Experience in selling Digital Transformation, SAP/ERP, Cloud, Analytics, IoT, Big Data, Mobility, etc. would be an advantage
- Strong personal networks in the enterprise space
- Experience in working with international companies
- Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written) in English, Dutch skills would be an advantage
- Open to travel
