• Looking for candidates that have hands on Big data component/framework (Hive/Hadoop) experience
• GCP experience highly preferred
• Java development experienc

Job Description:

Looking for a Software Engineer with strong analytical skills to help build and enhance our Big data application. This individuals daytoday work will involve using Java Scala SQL Big Data Linux git and maven/gradle to design and build software solutions that are fast scalable and flexible.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science
• Advanced and demonstrable analytical problemsolving and debugging skills
• Professional programming experience in an enterprise setting
• High volume transactional environment experience
• 6 years of software development experience as a Java developer
• 6 years of software development experience as a Spark/Scala developer
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing large scale distributed data intensive platforms with high resiliency availability and reliability.

Desired Skills:

• NoSQL databases such as MapR DB HBase Cassandra
• Big Data Components/Frameworks such as Hadoop (MapR) Spark Yarn
• Big Data querying tools such Hive
• Experience in Big Query and Cloud computing.
