Baker

• Prepare a variety of bakery items including bread pastries cakes and cookies ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
  
• Follow established recipes and formulas to achieve consistency in flavor texture and appearance of baked goods.
  
• Accurately measure and combine ingredients using proper mixing techniques to create doughs and batters.
  
• Operate and monitor baking equipment ensuring proper temperatures and bake times to achieve optimal results.
  
• Inspect finished products for quality taste and presentation making adjustments as needed to meet customer expectations.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Regularly clean and sanitize baking equipment.
  
• Assist in managing ingredient inventory notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
  
• Work collaboratively with other team members including kitchen staff and management to ensure a smooth and efficient baking process.
  
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing customer inquiries related to baked goods.
  
• Be open to learning new recipes and techniques and adapt to changes in production requirements.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery setting.
  
• Knowledge of baking techniques equipment and ingredients.
  
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
  
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
