Automotive Shop Foreman

A Red Seal Automotive Foreman is needed at a busy shop in BurnabyBC. Knowledgeable and reliable Service Tech will be required to inspect troubleshoot diagnose repair and maintain vehicles. A team player by nature the Automotive Service Tech diagnosis complex problems and find efficient solutions for them.

The Automotive Service Technician who excels in this role should remain informed on Federal and Provincial Regulations related to Safe Driving and be able use handheld equipment and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers. Must be experienced in repairing vehicles Ford F550s Cargo Vans Cars and SUVs

• Processing parts orders invoices and paperwork clearly and efficiently
  
• Keeping communication open between customers and staff on status of work orders
  
• Providing accurate and up to date reports on scheduled repairs conducted services and potential issues based on diagnostic inspections; Provide insight & recommendations
  

Red Seal Certified Automotive Service Tech with working knowledge of automotive equipment must:

• Possess strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills in order to maintain optimal customer satisfaction.
  
• Have welldeveloped interpersonal skills to effectively work with other members of the Service Department team and shop management
  
• Be committed to consistently delivering high quality work
  
• A valid Canadian driver s license and ability to provide drivers abstract for review.
  
• CVIP would be considered an asset
  

Compensation

$35.00 $45.00/hour Production Bonuses after probation
