Greater Talent Group has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Broker Remote Texas Location OR Hybrid Austin TX to join a dynamic and driven team at a Series A Insurtech company. Join a team and help build out their brokerage offering. Experience in construction habitational products professions or real estate is a plus.

What you’ll do

  • Drive sales and new carrier appointments to grow the companies footprint
  • Support the continued evolution of wholesale operations.
  • Complete licensedrelated activity as part of each surplus lines transaction
  • Interact with Carriers and Agents across the quotebindissue portion of the policy lifecycle
  • Support renewal operations
  • Partner with our Product Engineering and Operations teams to build solutions to streamline efforts across the full policy lifecycle in the surplus lines space

What you’ll need

  • 2 years of fulltime experience in a similar role producing at a wholesaler
  • Both Texas general and surplus lines licenses
  • Strong sales / producer abilities
  • Ability to handle highvolume deals generating quotes and servicing policies quickly
  • Excellent communication skills: both inperson and written
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • A natural desire to see things through and a history of being scrappy when it counts
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally
