Assistant Financial Controller

• Collaborate with the Controller in managing daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
  
• Assist with monthend and yearend close processes including journal entries reconciliations and accruals.
  
• Monitor and analyze financial data identify trends and provide insights to management.
  
• Assist in preparing financial statements including balance sheets income and cash flow statements ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  
• Support the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  
• Assist in the coordination of external audits including the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.

Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  
• CPA in progress is an asset.
  

• 4 years working in an accounting or finance role preferably in a servicebased company.
  

• Strong business accounting and financial acumen.
  
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to present financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  
• Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central knowledge will be essential.
  
• A working knowledge of MS Dynamics CRM and PowerBI will be beneficial.
  
• Extreme attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills and an ability to multitask and prioritize projects within a rapidly dynamic work environment.
