Description

  • Assist in the procurement process for pharmaceutical products medical supplies and related items
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and conditions ensuring favorable agreements for the pharmacy
  • Evaluate potential suppliers based on factors such as quality reliability and costeffectiveness
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
  • Implement efficient inventory control practices to minimize waste and maximize product shelf life
  • Conduct regular stock assessments and coordinate with other pharmacy staff to address any discrepancies
  • Stay informed about pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements related to purchasing and inventory management
  • Ensure that all purchasing activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards to maintain a compliant operation
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to understand their needs and forecast demand for pharmaceutical products
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers addressing inquiries resolving issues and fostering positive relationships
  • Keep accurate records of purchases deliveries and inventory levels
  • Generate reports on purchasing activities and present findings to management as needed
  • Work to optimize costs while maintaining the quality and reliability of pharmaceutical products
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and propose efficiency improvements in the purchasing process
  • Stay updated on industry trends new products and market conditions
  • Identify and suggest improvements to the purchasing process to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or a related field
  • Assistant Apoteker certification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical purchasing or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
