The Role

We are seeking an Application Support Analyst who can help ensure the solutions that support our business colleagues are working optimally. The candidate will have an enquiring mind and enjoy learning how our audit accounting tax and other solutions are used to support our client work and be able to diagnose and solve our colleagues application problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide colleague support for our service line solutions.
• Diagnose issues and either directly or via our infrastructure or solution providers ensure issues are resolved and our colleagues can work effectively.
• Perform and/or support the regular legislative upgrades to key software applications
• Regularly review the overall health of key applications and then undertake maintenance activities as required.
• Be part of project teams when required.

Qualifications Knowledge & Experience:

Accounting Tax Audit
Ideally will have working in an accounting tax or audit environment and be familiar with the key business principles and processes and the software that supports them (e.g. CCH Alphatax etc). If dont have this expertise would need to demonstrate an enquiring mind and desire to learn our business environment.

Analytical Mindset
Ability to take a problem and work methodically to find solutions.

IT Environment
Expose to supporting an general IT Environment and how applications interact with it.

Third Parties
Can show experience of working with third parties to provide an overall support service.

Self Management
Can demonstrate ability to manage work priorities prioritise competing demands on time effective engagement with management when either direction or prioritization decisions are required and can see support issues through to a conclusion.

Interpersonal Skills
Good communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Skilled at fostering collaboration among team members stakeholders and external suppliers & vendors.

• Our standard working week is a 37.5hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 50% of your time across the month home based and the other 50% office based)
• Core working hours are 10am 4pm Monday to Friday
