The Role

We are seeking a practical hands on application project manager/analyst to drive the implementation of application and data solutions for our business. The candidate will enjoy hands on project management and learning the details of the applications that support our client facing staff. We are looking for someone with a good application technical background and specifically some proficiency in Python a solid understanding of SQL and hands on experience of Azure services and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to take a business problem working with business colleagues lead the analysis of potential solutions and then prepare business cases for signoff.
• Provide hands on project management leadership working with third party solution providers our infrastructure MSP and small internal development team.
• Undertake data analysis to aid the design of data integrations and then work with the development team to get delivered.
• Ensure projects are handed over to support with the necessary documentation and processes.
• Ensure our applications are architected for security

Qualifications Knowledge & Experience:

IT Project Management Experience
Should have some experience in managing third party application implementation projects and/or application and data integration projects. The candidate will have demonstrated delivering complex technical solutions on time and the potential to grow their project leadership expertise.

Interpersonal Skills
Good communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Skilled at fostering collaboration among team members and stakeholders resolving conflicts managing external suppliers & vendors.

Azure Infrastructure Experience
Handson experience with Azure services and infrastructure with the ability to design deploy and manage secure scalable highly available and faulttolerant systems on Azure. Knowledge of Azure best practices and security protocols is essential to architect an environment that supports Gravitas needs.

Python
A strong proficiency in Python is required. Will need to understand and sometimes engage with the development teams codebase. The ability to review and write Python notebooks in Azure Databricks for automation data manipulation and crucially integration tasks is critical for bridging the gap between project management and technical execution.

SQL
The candidate should have a solid understanding of SQL with the capability to perform database queries and manage datadriven projects. Should be comfortable with relational database concepts and be comfortable with Azure SQL server architecture and schema.

• Our standard working week is a 37.5hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 50% of your time across the month home based and the other 50% office based)
• Core working hours are 10am 4pm Monday to Friday
