Dear Applicant for our client We are seeking an experienced Freelance Android Developer proficient in Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in app development with a strong portfolio showcasing their skills in Kotlin.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Unittest code for robustness including edge cases usability and general reliability.
• Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure smooth operation.
• Stay uptodate with new trends techniques and best practices in Android development.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin Compose UI
• Strong understanding of Android SDK different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience with thirdparty libraries and APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• German language minimum B2

Nice to have:

• Experience with public German clients such as health insurances would be ideal for all candidates
• Experience with consultation and workshops dev ops support and manage platform overall consistency
