Accounting Manager

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support business decisions.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a finance team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure the team's effectiveness and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Should have the skill and ability to do closing and accounts finalization.

Cost Management:

• Monitor and control costs across the logistics and supply chain operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Risk Management:

• Assess financial risks associated with logistics and supply chain activities.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Strategic Decision Support:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial viability.

Cash Flow Management:

• Manage working capital effectively to optimize cash flow.
• Implement strategies to improve cash conversion cycles.

Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

Financial Systems and Processes:

• Implement and maintain robust financial systems and processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Vat and Zakat:

• Should know the local laws for VAT compliance in Saudi Arabia
• Should be able to file and calculate zakat and Vat.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or professional finance qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain company or relevant field
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices. (IAS and IFRS)
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
