Our client is a leading independent supplier of IT furniture stationary and lighting. Due to expansion they are currently in need of an Accountant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling responsibly & managing statutory accounts as per standard.
- Ensuring payments amount and records are accurate.
- Working with spreadsheets sales and purchase ledgers and journals
- Recording and filing cash transactions appropriately.
- Controlling accounts payable and receivable
- Timely invoice processing and filing.
- Processing expense requests for accountant s approval.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Updating and maintaining account policies.
- Responding to variances and ensuring a closed result professionally.
- Understanding requirements of account system and suggest improvement solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSC in Accounting or any relating field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant
- Proficient in QuickBooks Microsoft Excel & Word
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting standards.
