Overview

The Account Executive (Personal Accounting) is a crucial role within our organization responsible for managing the financial needs of highnetworth individuals and providing personalized accounting services. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong client relationships ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of financial information and delivering expert financial advice. As an Account Executive (Personal Accounting) you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial wellbeing of our clients and contribute to the continued growth and success of our firm.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with highnetworth individuals to understand their financial needs and provide personalized accounting solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and create customized financial plans to assist clients in reaching their financial goals.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Provide expert financial advice to clients covering areas such as investment strategies estate planning and retirement planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including tax specialists and wealth management professionals to address client needs holistically.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients through upselling and crossselling of services.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in tax laws to ensure clients receive the most current and effective financial guidance.
  • Handle client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Participate in networking and business development activities to generate new leads and expand the client base.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and strategies to support the promotion of personal accounting services.
  • Adhere to all relevant professional and ethical standards in the delivery of services to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate client records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental and organizational goals actively contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in personal accounting managing the financial affairs of highnetworth individuals.
  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis tax preparation and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies estate planning and retirement planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic work environment managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements relevant to personal accounting.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated approach to identifying and addressing client needs effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and trust.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the regulatory and business environment continuously updating skills and knowledge.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
