About the Job
Hygiene and Food Safety Responsibility.

To identify key areas of risk in various food operations for early remedial actions
To ensure compliance with the regulations, licensing conditions and codes of practice relating to food businesses
To monitor the health condition of food handlers and to arrange medical examination or suspension of work where necessary
To provide in-house training for the food handlers
To supervise the work of the Hygiene Supervisor (if any)
To handle complaints or inquiries from customers on food hygiene matters
To act as a focal point of contact with the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department
To ensure that food safety and health and safety legislation is adhered to within the all areas.
To fully understand and work with all necessary quality control instrumentation.
To set and maintain quality standards throughout all areas and to complete all relevant documentation as required.
To fully support the management team.
Deputies for my colleagues and immediate line manager in areas where I have been trained and
considered competent, in their absence.
To under go training and to support the Product Managers / Desks as required.
To take ownership of all third party inspections and audits including tours, closing meetings, reports…etc.
To take a responsibility of the post Covid-19 new operational procedures.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills:
Minimum 3 years experience in 5 star international hotel chain and 2 years in the same position.
Must be able to use proficiently all Microsoft Office Applications
Skillful operational use of the computer and its word processing program
HACCP Certified
Efficiency:
Quick learner with strong organization & multi-tasking skills, and an eye-for-detail.
Must be able to work in pressure environments and high-intensity situations
Must be hard working & a team player, with a result-orientated attitude.
Communication Skills:
Excellent knowledge of English (written, verbal).
Displays excellent Communication, Delegation, Leadership and Problem Solving skills.
Promotes Creativity and Initiative.
