As a Life Safety Systems Executive (Electronic) youll represent Johnson Controls at the front line of one of the most critical and in-demand marketsfire and life safety systems. Youll work directly with customers end users and decision-makers to deliver solutions that protect people property and operations.

This isnt just another sales roleyoull be a trusted advisor driving new business while growing long-term relationships in your territory. Youll take full ownership of your pipeline from prospecting through close and play a key role in expanding Johnson Controls presence in a rapidly evolving market.

How Youll Do It

Youll combine strong sales instincts with disciplined execution and a consultative approach to win and grow business.

In this role you will:

  • Prospect qualify and develop new opportunities through strategic outreach and lead follow-up
  • Build and execute a territory sales strategy that prioritizes high-value opportunities
  • Educate customers through presentations demos and events that showcase the value of Johnson Controls solutions
  • Create compelling financial justifications and proposals that clearly communicate ROI
  • Confidently present negotiate and close deals with decision-makers
  • Partner closely with operations to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale through delivery
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts identifying opportunities for repeat and expanded business
  • Track your pipeline metrics and performance with a strong command of CRM tools
  • Represent Johnson Controls at industry events trade shows and customer engagements

What Were Looking For

Were looking for a self-driven competitive and disciplined sales professional who knows how to build a pipeline and close business.

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of successful sales experience in electronic systems or a related industry
  • Proven ability to identify qualify and close opportunities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence buyers
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization and time management skills
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and performance

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in business marketing or engineering
  • 8 years of success in fire/life safety or related technical sales
  • Experience working with electrical contractors and reading blueprints/wiring diagrams
  • NICET Level II certification
