This role sits within the Accounts Receivable and Procure to pay team who are part of the Business Administration Service and who are responsible for the raising of all customer invoices and the payment of suppliers for goods works and services. As a Payments Officer you will be responsible for overseeing payments for both Adult Social Care and Foster Carers/Agencies deal with queries internally and externally support he Payments Assistants and the Team Leader.

Our goals within the Controcc Payments Team are to make sure payments are correct and paid on time support providers/Fosters Carers and Agencies resolve queries quickly liaising with colleagues in other department and Improve reporting data and guidance.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Can communicate effectively
  • Has Microsoft Office skills
  • Has a high standard of attention to detail
  • Has real passion for delivering customer service in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure whilst working to tight deadlines within a team environment
