About the Role

Reporting to the Manager of System Improvement & Support this role will sit within our Business Connect shared services function. As a Senior Business Data Analyst you will be responsible to drive data collection application utilisation analysis and insights while ensuring the efficient monitoring of key business operational KPIs. This role will play a crucial part in providing actionable business insights leading data analytics growth across multiple business units and fostering improvements in operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Insights & Operational Metrics: Provide valuable insights into business operations through the analysis of key performance metrics and data trends.
  • Data Analytics Leadership: Lead the growth and development of data analytics capabilities within the organisation working across multiple business units to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Operational Efficiency Improvement: Champion the identification and implementation of strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across departments.
  • Governance & Framework: Take charge of business governance leading framework working groups to ensure the integrity consistency and standardisation of processes.
  • Coaching & Development: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to Business Analysts helping to develop their skills and capabilities within the organisation.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in business analysis data analytics or operational management roles.
  • Strong ability to analyse interpret and translate data into meaningful business insights.
  • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams or working groups.
  • Knowledge of business governance and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to support coach and develop team members.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data analysis applications.
  • Ability to drive improvements and implement strategies to optimise business operations.

Essential Requirements
