Imaging Associates is seeking an experiencedMRItechnologist to become aCoordinatorandlead our MRI services across multiple clinics and play a key role in shaping the future of our growing network.

Why This Role Matters

As MRI Coordinatoryoullsit at the intersection ofclinical leadership operations and closely with our Clinical Directors and Operational Leadership team to deliver consistenthighqualityMRI services while driving greenfield growth and increasing MRI volumes across existing clinics.

Youllbe trusted to lead influence and improve how MRI is delivered across Imaging Associates. you will be responsible for overseeing MRI operations across all IA clinics ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and our teams feel supported engaged and empowered.

Your role will include:

  • Leading motivating and developing MRI MITs across multiple locations Standardising and improving MRI protocols quality assurance and safety practices
  • Ensuring smooth workflows efficient resource allocation and minimal wait times for patients
  • Conducting image critique and quality audits tomaintain diagnostic excellence
  • Supporting business growth initiatives and collaborating with sales and marketing
  • Managing MRI-related issues complaints and operational challenges Collaborate with Chief MITs and MRI Supervisors to ensure proper maintenance and calibration of MRI equipment co-ordinating with vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Staying ahead of MRI technology and recommending service or equipment improvements Undertake recruitment and induction of new staff in collaboration with People and Culture
  • Youll also remain hands-on performing advanced MRI scansand training of Radiographers when required and supporting teams where needed.

About You

You are a skilled MRI professional who enjoys responsibility and thrives in leading across multiple sites and know how to bring people together around shared goals.

Youll bring:

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a leadership position (ideal) leading and managing a team of radiographersalong with at least4years clinical MRI experience Tertiary qualification in Radiography and ASMIRTMRI Level 1 accreditation or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of MRI protocols quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Strongawareness of Medicare billing requirements for MRI and how to apply these effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate and lead others.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients families healthcare professionals teammembers and external suppliers across multiple clinic locations.
  • Able to work independently prioritise tasks and handle multiple responsibilities across different locationsto meetobjectives and deadlines.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment adjusting priorities as required able to perform under high pressure.
  • Strong problem solving anddecision-makingskills with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
