Finance Operations Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a full time Finance Operations Manager to join our dedicated Finance team. This role is primarily responsible for payroll operations while also providing flexible cross-functional support across broader finance activities as required to support operational needs.
What youll be doing:
- End-to-end payroll processing using Ready Workforce including timesheets rosters variations and employee changes
- Prepare payroll reports journals reconciliations and audit documentation
- Ensure compliance with Awards Fair Work requirements and payroll tax obligations
- Maintain accurate payroll and employee records and respond to payroll queries in a timely manner
- Support payroll audits year-end processing payroll tax submissions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Attend payroll review meetings providing insights and reporting
- Assist with credit card reconciliations and cashiering duties
- Provide cross-functional support across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as required
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support finance controls compliance and operational processes
Qualifications :
Your keys to success in this role include:
- Strong foundation in finance operations within a hotel or hospitality environment
- End-to-end payroll experience in a large or multi-site hospitality setting (preferred)
- Sound understanding of Modern Awards and Fair Work requirements
- High attention to detail with strong numerical and reconciliation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to payroll queries
- Ability to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams
