The opportunity

We have an exciting ongoing opportunity available to join the NSW EPA. The Assistant Finance Project Officer provides support to both the Business Advisory & Partnering team and the wider organisation across a broad range of financial priorities including month-end reconciliation data analysis system training and reporting.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in a NSW Government Finance team. Additionally someone with a an ability to communicate clearly to non-Finance staff to bring about organisation financial goals.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum certificate level in accounting and or relevant financial experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation of month-end reconciliations.

The Assistant Finance Project Officer role sits within the Policy Programs and Finance Division part of a high-performing team that provides strategic business and financial advisory services across the EPA.
