Position Criteria:
- Valid Iowa teaching license required
- K-8 Music endorsement required
- Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
- Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Performance Criteria:
- Schedule prepare and direct elementary music performances
- Facilitate the selection process of students participating in honor choir
- Attend honor choir concert(s) with selected students
- Reserve rehearsal and performance facilities
- Arrange bussing for student concert rehearsals occurring at a separate performance facility
- Maintain availability outside of school for individual and small group assistance
- Collaborate with facility support staff as needed including Operations and Performing Arts Center Management
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the District
