Job Summary
EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (PARAPROFESSIONAL)
Dates: Program- July 6 2026- July 30 2026 (Monday through Thursday)
Times: Staff Time: 8:30AM-12:30PM (Student Time: 9:00AM-12:00PM)
Location: Fairview Elementary School
Purpose:Under the direction of the special education teacher support specialized instructions in acedemic social and motor skills through the delivery ans assessmnet of the Individual Educational Plan (IEP).
Duties:
- Work with individual and small groups of students
- Bring academic social and motor issues to the attention of the classroom teacher
- Assist in preparation of classroom materials
- Maintain records attendance and assessments as required by the classroom teacher.
- Assist students with activities of daily living including diapering and toileting needs if necessary
Qualifications:
- Experience or familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
- Knowledge of experiential learning and intensive interventions
