About the Role
We are looking for a driven Director to own our Associate Solutions Engineering Program to lead and mentor a team of Associate Solutions Engineers (ASEs) through their technical training journey. This role is ideal for someone technical with a passion for technical education & training program management and a keen ability to foster career growth in others.
You will oversee the development and execution of training programs designed to equip ASEs with hands-on experience in technical domains like computer networking cloud architecture and physical security. Youll manage the progress of ASEs through their training ensuring they gain valuable skills and experiences necessary for success in building technical solutions. Youll also work closely with seasoned Solutions Engineers to ensure mentorship and guidance are a core part of the program.

This position is located on-site in our office in Redwood City not hybrid or remote
What Youll Do
Oversee the daily activities of the ASE training program ensuring ASEs are meeting their learning milestones in areas such as cloud infrastructure networking and physical security.
This is an accelerated sales engineering training program for early careeer professionals who want to become world-class buiness leaders.
Collaborate with Solutions Engineering leaders and trainers to build and refine training content that meets the evolving technical needs of the company.
Provide mentorship and career development support to ASEs fostering a positive learning environment and offering guidance on future career paths.
Coordinate hands-on technical projects that allow ASEs to work with our full product suite gaining real-world experience in designing and implementing security solutions.
Ensure ASEs are progressing in their communication and presentation skills preparing them to interface with customers and deliver technical solutions.
Manage program logistics including scheduling cohort management managing travel and tracking ASE progress in technical certifications and soft skill development.
Facilitate ASE engagement with SE mentors and track the success of those relationships.
Regularly report on ASE program performance identifying areas for growth and improvement.
Create Lab material and content
Qualifications
5 years of experience in customer-facing pre-sales technical roles. (Past experience as a Solutions Engineer is a must)
Strong understanding of technical domains such as computer networking cloud architecture and security infrastructure.
Minium 2 years experience leading mentoring or training
Past experience as an Architect
Previous experience in technical training around networking cloud and infrastructure.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide early-career engineers.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a strong sense of accountability and adaptability.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering IT Security or similar from a 4-year U.S. based accredited university
Certifications in Cloud computing Networking or ASW Cloud CCNA or security certification
Passion for technology education and continuous improvement
Proven track record in leading high performing sales engineering teams and working closely
