Job Description:
The SVP Analytics hastheresponsibility for setting the vision and providing strategic direction toakey clientsinB2B techand tothecross-industryMarketing Effectiveness (ME) team a group of approximately 60 analytics professionals across the US. This individual isanexpert onmedia measurement for B2B tech as well asgeneralmediaanalytics and research. As such he she theyare responsible forleading/publishing/speaking and oftenactsas the analytics spokesperson infront of clients incompanymeetingsat conferences etc.
Job responsibilities:
Partners with various disciplines across the agency such as Consumer Insights and Analytics Activation Integrated Media Portfolioleads todevelopconnections between functions.
Leads client engagements and manages analytics delivery teams.
Provides thought leadership on best-in-class measurement and analytics strategy to senior client stakeholders.
Generate media insights and measurement strategies across both brand media and performance media.
Identifiesand develops product specific analytics offerings for specific clients.
Authorswhitepapers POVs other industry thought capital; attends/speaks at conferences.
Evaluates and partners with external vendors and technologies asappropriate.
Evaluates prospective technologies and companies for partnership or corporate acquisition.
Advisesthe agency about key industry trends and innovations.
Exhibits strong analytical project managementstorytellingand communication skills.
Partners with newbusinessto identify opportunities for growth and development and enable business growth and development or existing clients.
Interacts withMarketingEffectiveness leadership team; crafts and implements the ME vision.
Is responsible forrecruiting management level roles within the group and for developingmanagers.
Sets vision/strategy andfacilitatesteam operations to deliver quality andtimelydeliverables.
Leads (and is the voice of) local/national department initiatives elevating the work providing training knowledge sharing and best practices.
Empowers direct reportsto owntheirclient relationships and projects.
Managesperformance and career growth of direct reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Statistics Economics DataScienceor related quantitative field
Masters degree preferred
15 years in a quantitative business environment
8 years in marketing analytics with knowledge of the media planning process
Experience working at or working with B2B businesses with particular emphasis on B2B tech businesses
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings in simple terms
Strong organizational skills political instincts andproven-leadershipability
Demonstrates understanding of media planning and buying with a focus on media measurement and digital tracking including limitations and advantages
Experience in data visualization (Excel Tableau Power BI Datorama)
Advanced in SQL Python or R
Advanced media measurement capabilities ( MTA) and planning A/B and Match Markettesting
Advanced MS Office Skills (MS Word ExcelPowerpoint)
Theannualbase salary range for this position is $217500 - $ within the salary rangeis based on a variety of factors including relevant experience knowledge skills and other factorspermittedby this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
