ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Team Manager to join our MultiAgency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).

Team Managers play a critical leadership role at the Front Door ensuring that highquality timely and proportionate decisions are made to safeguard children and support families. You will lead a small multidisciplinary team and work closely with partner agencies to ensure strong information sharing professional challenge and defensible decisionmaking.

Reporting to a Service Manager you will manage a team of Social Workers Senior Social Workers Early Help Practitioners and Referral Officers creating a safe and reflective environment where systemic practice can flourish.

ABOUT YOU

You are a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England with substantial experience working in a local authority MASH or Front Door service. This may be at Team Manager level or as a Senior Social Worker with significant management experience in another statutory service.

You are a resilient and confident leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and families. You value reflective supervision support high standards of practice and lead with compassion as well as clarity. You bring a strong understanding of systemic and restorative practice and are able to apply this creatively and pragmatically in a fastpaced safeguarding environment.

You have experience of working within a diverse urban context and share our ambition to continuously improve how we respond to children and families. You are comfortable leading through change and are motivated by the opportunity to shape excellent Front Door practice.
