Position Title: Radiologic Technologist CT
Location: Syracuse NY 13215
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Evening Swing Shift
Schedule: Monday Friday 10:30 AM 7:00 PM 42.5 Hours per Week
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CT Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and radiographic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting while ensuring high-quality patient care and radiation safety compliance.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
- Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI imaging experience required
- Strong CT and radiographic imaging skills required
- Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning required
- Experience with RIS documentation systems required
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging environment
- Ability to participate in rotational weekends holidays and on-call coverage
- Successful pre-employment health clearance required
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
- Explain imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort
- Operate CT and radiology equipment efficiently
- Select appropriate imaging exposure factors
- Maintain radiation safety and protection standards
- Process imaging studies and maintain accurate documentation
- Enter exam information into RIS systems
- Assist radiologists and physicians during imaging procedures
- Monitor imaging equipment and report malfunctions
- Maintain clean and organized imaging areas
- Support departmental workflow and imaging protocols
Additional Details:
- Rotational weekends and holiday coverage required
- On-call responsibilities included
