Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist (CT) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians and radiologists
• Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations
• Operate radiographic and CT imaging equipment efficiently and safely
• Select proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Follow radiation safety and protection standards to minimize patient exposure
• Explain imaging procedures and provide patient support during examinations
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly
• Process imaging studies and maintain accurate documentation within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Ensure compliance with departmental protocols policies and procedures
• Assist with billing and imaging documentation processes
• Maintain cleanliness and proper use of imaging equipment
• Participate in rotational weekend holiday and on-call coverage

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Current New York State License/Registration as a Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum one (1) year of CT/MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
