Finance Assistant, Billing

You are a Finance Assistant Billing. (5 month contract)

Location: Toronto Calgary Halifax Remote

We areseekinga highly organized Finance Assistant with hands-on finance experience in a generalist capacity. This role requiresdetail-drivenindividual who can confidently manage AP and AR perform reconciliations and ensuredocumentspassaudit testing.

You bring strong discernment take ownership of finance processes andoperatewith urgency. You are proactive independent andcomfortableflagging discrepancies when somethingdoesntlook right.

What Are YourResponsibilities

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Monitor and manage the shared AP inbox responding promptly and following up on outstanding items.
• Performreconciliations andidentifydiscrepancies.
• Track and reconcileproject-related expenses.
• Maintain well-organized audit-ready documentation in SharePoint.
• Support monthly client invoicing withaccurateand properly collated documentation.
• Ensure accuracy completeness and compliance across all finance records.

What Type of Qualities and QualificationsShould I Have

• 1-2 years of finance experience
• Strong AP and AR experience.
• Proven experience withreconciliations.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel.
• Solid SharePoint experience (document management).
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communicationskills.
• Ability to work independently proactively and with urgency.
• Demonstrated discernment and ability tomaintainaudit-ready standards.

Nice to Have

• NetSuiteandBionicexperience knowledge of media business operations

Salary

The Canada base salary range for this position is$50000- $55000.Our salary ranges aredeterminedby job and level. Within the range individual compensation isdeterminedby job-related skills and knowledge relevant experience including professional and lived experience and/or work location.
