Contract Manager

AsContract Manageryou will be supporting our Grid Integration (PGGI)Business. You will be able to make an impact with your analyticalhands-onand autonomous approach and contribute to the successful performance of our Contract Management team that works across Europe.

You are a reliable partner when it comes to the preparation of contracts /subcontracts contractadministrationand project execution. You will ensure contract and risk management activities are executed ina timelyandaccuratemanner protecting Hitachi Energys interests throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop contract strategies based on Hitachi Energys policies customer requirements and the overall execution strategy considering risk pricing scope and schedule.
• Provide guidance and leadership on contract related matters to cross functional business team members.

• Identifythe contract baseline (including terms and conditions specifications drawings estimate proposalscheduleand other documents incorporated in the contract) and highlights areas of opportunities and potential risk.

• Ensuretimelyandaccurateexecution of commercial aspects on a portfolio of contracts / subcontracts (i.e. payments claims variation orders warranties provisions guarantees etc.).

• Verify that all parties to the contract have fulfilled their contractual obligations and there are no responsibilities outstanding.

• Together with Hitachi Energys Legal Representatives develop the negotiation strategy and support negotiations.

• Support the Legal team in handling formal dispute resolutionlitigationand arbitration proceedings.

• Align with Hitachi Energy Legal to draft negotiate andfinalizeagreements during the Sales and Project Execution phases

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance Quality Control and Project Management ideally within the power sector particularly in High Voltage along with an open and enthusiastic hands-on approach.
• In depth knowledge of construction law contract administration and cost management are essential.

• Strong educational history in Quantity Surveying / Contract Management

• Professional accreditation such as MRICSor similaris desirable

• Quantity Surveying and / or Law Degree is essential

• Strong Organizational leadership and communication skills

• Experience working within high-profile regulated environments
