Location: Azle TX 76020

Duration: 6 Weeks Contract

Shift: Day Shift 3x8 Hour Shifts

Hours: 06:30 AM 03:00 PM Tuesday Wednesday Friday 24 Hours/Week
On-Call Requirements: 15 Days/Month (Including Weekends & Holidays)
Call Hours: 03:00 PM 10:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced RN Operating Room (RN Circulator) for a short-term contract assignment in an acute care surgical setting. The role involves circulating in the OR supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety and sterile technique throughout perioperative procedures.

Responsibilities:
Serve as circulating RN during surgical procedures
Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment prior to procedures
Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards
Coordinate patient care throughout perioperative process
Assist surgeons anesthesia providers and surgical teams during procedures
Perform surgical documentation and maintain accurate patient records
Monitor patient condition during operative procedures
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols
Support efficient OR workflow and case turnover
Participate in required call rotations including weekends and holidays
Provide compassionate perioperative patient care

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year acute care hospital OR RN experience required
Strong circulating experience required
Current RN License required
Ability to work independently in surgical environment required
Excellent communication and teamwork skills required
English proficiency required

Required Certifications:
BLS required

Preferred:
Multi-specialty OR experience
Acute care hospital surgical experience
Perioperative nursing experience
