Job Summary
JUNIOR HIGH/MIDDLE SCHOOL COUNSELOR200 DAY CONTRACT FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEARJOB DESCRIPTION:Counsel individuals to help them understand and overcome personal social or behavioral problems affecting their educational crisis intervention to students when difficult situations occur at student accurate and complete student records as required by law district policies and administrative students or individuals abilities interests and personality characteristics using tests records interviews or professional cases of suspected domestic abuse or other family problems and encourage students or parents to seek additional assistance from mental health students regarding educational issues such as course and program selection class scheduling and registration school adjustment truancy and study of e-school for creating and maintaining students class special services such as alcohol and drug prevention programs and classes that teach students to handle conflicts without resorting to violence. QUALIFICATIONS:*VALID ARKANSAS DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION EDUCATORS LICENSE WITH GUIDANCE & COUNSELING ENDORSEMENT*MASTERS DEGREE *3 YEARS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIREDRETURN CERTIFIED APPLICATION TO RICHARD MOORE
