Senior Solution Architect – Digital
Job Summary
Position Description:
The role of the Senior Solution Architect Digital is to act as the key solution architect for the Digital business areas. The position involves understanding business requirements and designing technology solutions that meet needs across Business Application Information and Technology domains while aligning with the Enterprise Architecture vision and considering non-functional requirements such as security and performance. The architect works on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborates with Enterprise Architecture and PMO teams to ensure alignment with technology strategy.

Work mode: Hybride 2 days/weeks un the office
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Support Solution Architects for Digital / ecommerce / Marketing ecosystem
Assess business requirements for initiatives or problems
Gather non-functional requirements
Pre-select and compare potential technical solutions including software
Design solution architecture across Business Application Information and Technology domains
Lead design and selection of information systems (functionality data security integration infrastructure performance)
Support project teams during specification and design phases
Collaborate with the organization to align IT solutions with business strategies
Investigate systems that could benefit the organization
Document architecture using enterprise architecture tools (e.g. Archimate)
Maintain current and future application architecture models
Design resilient agile and performant digital architectures
Drive organizational change through technology
Support software architecture and development teams
Estimate costs and build business cases (infrastructure licensing development support)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors degree in computer science information systems or related field
Minimum 10 years of IT experience including 5 years in system design
Strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise solutions especially e-commerce
Hands-on experience with:
Ecommerce (B2B/B2C)
CRM
Mobile applications
Websites and marketing automation tools
Knowledge of data privacy and consent regulations
Strong communication and influencing skills with executives and stakeholders
Enterprise Architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF) is an asset
Bilingual (French and English)
Strong business acumen and strategic alignment capability
Ability to evaluate a wide range of technology solutions
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Self-driven with strong prioritization and planning skills
Results-oriented mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Team collaboration and leadership skills
Strong conceptual thinking and innovation mindset
Experience with SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture)
Knowledge of EA methodologies (TOGAF Archimate)

Knowledge of mobile IoT and intranet systems
CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. This range is determined based on several factors including skill level geographic market experience education as well as professional licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific circumstances of each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is between $80000 and $120000. This position is currently open.
