POSITION OVERVIEW
Assists in the daily supervision of assigned lifeguards swim instructors and monitors compliance with facility policies. Responsible for lifeguarding guests and providing basic first aid treatment. Administers Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED as required. Must be able to work all shifts to include mornings evenings weekends and holidays. All final candidates must consent to a criminal background check and successfully pass a drug screening.

- Performs responsible lifeguard duties at ERC to assure the safety and welfare of our guests
- Assists with the responsibility of following and enforcing E&A Lifeguarding protocols and safety procedures within lifeguard areas of responsibility
- Applies mature judgment and works harmoniously and firmly with other employees and general public
- Provides customer service to guests using our facility or enrolled in our programs
- Attends and assists with required monthly In-Service trainings
- Ensures pool area is clean and free of hazards
- Performs water chemistry duties to include water testing equipment monitoring
- Records daily weekly monthly logs as required
PREPARATION AND TRAINING
Minimum Requirements
- Successful candidates will be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of 1 year of lifeguard experience.
- Current ILTP (Ellis & Associates) license preferred or obtained within 2 weeks of hire date.
A combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance will be considered.
