Status:Exempt/Full-Time 30-37.5 hours per week
Shift:Tuesday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. including occasional nights/weekends. Some weeks will require Monday through Friday on an as needed basis.
Compensation:$40000-$55000 annually competitive and commensurate with experience.

The Taft Museum of Art located in downtown Cincinnati is seeking afull-time Learning & Outreach Manager (Adult Programs) to join our team. This position reports to the Director of Learning & Outreach and plays a key role in developing and delivering dynamic engaging experiences for adult audiences.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Learning & Outreach the Learning & Outreach Manager (Adult Programs) supports the Taft Museum of Arts mission to provide meaningful experiences that connect people with great artboth within its historic setting and throughout the community. This role is responsible for the development implementation and evaluation of engaging programs for diverse audiences with a primary focus on adult programming.
Roles and Responsibilities
Program Management
- Develops and implements programs from concept through execution in alignment with the Taft Museum of Arts strategic plan and Learning & Outreach core principles with an emphasis on adult audiences.
- Collaborates with internal departments to coordinate and communicate all program logistics and operations.
- Partners with the Marketing team to develop program messaging and contributes to promotional content across communication channels.
- Collects and analyzes participant feedback through surveys and other evaluation tools to inform continuous improvement.
- Cultivates and maintains relationships with community partners artists and stakeholders to support program development and audience engagement.
- Expands outreach efforts by designing and delivering programs that engage new and nontraditional audiences both onsite and offsite.
Administration
- Provides administrative and project support to the Learning & Outreach team to enhance departmental capacity.
- Maintains accurate records of community partners including contact and demographic information as needed.
- Tracks program data and maintains records to support reporting needs including development and grant reporting.
- Manages program budgets processes invoices and collaborates with the Director of Learning & Outreach on future budget planning.
- Responds to public inquiries by monitoring shared voicemail and email accounts and providing accurate information about programs.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in a related field such as art education arts administration museum studies art history or hospitality; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. A Masters degree is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience coordinating and scheduling a variety of activities in a professional work environment.
- Experience conceptualizing and implementing innovative museum or community-based programs is preferred.
- Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Ability to climb stairs and stand for extended periods (up to three hours at a time) is required.
