About the role
The FPCRA Lead Cluster/Market is the end to end finance owner for the Cluster/Market accountable for the full spectrum from planning and forecasting through to controllership reporting and performance analytics.
This role combines the responsibilities of Planning & Forecasting Lead cluster/market and Close & Control / Controllership Lead Cluster/market providing a single point of accountability for financial integrity performance insight and forward-looking outlooks.
The FPCRA Lead Cluster/market partners closely with Cluster LT and Finance Head to drive business strategy acts as the gatekeeper of the OUs financials and ensures robust governance controls and high-quality decision support.
The role leads a multi-disciplinary finance organization including planners controllers reporting & analytics teams and oversight of BPO / managed service providers.
Role Responsibilities
EndtoEnd Financial Ownership
- Own the endtoend finance cycle for the Cluster/Market from forecasting and planning to actuals reporting and performance analysis
- Ensure financial results outlooks and narratives are accurate consistent and timely
- Act as the single point of accountability for integrity and accuracy of Cluster Financials
Planning Forecasting & Performance Management
- Lead all planning forecasting and update cycles for the Cluster/Market
- Drive highquality analytics explaining key drivers risks and opportunities
- Support Cluster performance reviews with clear insights and forwardlooking perspectives
Controllership Governance & Compliance
- Ensure robust financial controls stewardship and compliance across the Cluster/Market
- Oversee statutory and management reporting ensuring adherence to IFRS Haleon policies and local regulations
- Take a proactive stance on compliance
- Act as escalation point for financial risks control issues and judgmentbased decisions
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management
- Develop a deep knowledge of business fundamentals including the economic commercial and regulatory environment with attention to customer and competitor dynamics.
- Partner with the Cluster/Market Finance Head and business leadership to drive strategic and operational decisions
- Engage with Group Control Consolidation External Reporting Group FP&A Tax Treasury
- Represent the Cluster in OU and global finance forums if required
Organisation & Capability Leadership
- Lead and develop teams across FPCRA within the Cluster/Market
- Provide clear direction role clarity and performance expectations across the FPCRA organisation
- Build a strong controllership and insightdriven finance culture
Continuous Improvement Drive
- Lead the development and management of continuous improvement strategies for the Cluster close control reporting consolidation and forecasting processes contributing to the broader finance functions strategic direction in partnership with the OU team
Why you
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance across multiple discipline (especially controllership and financial planning and analysis);
- Having substantial leadership decision making stakeholder management Communication experience
- Proven experience compliance audit and related roles working in a matrix environment.
- Strong background in reporting under IFRS and local regulations.
- Degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related discipline
- Extensive seniorlevel experience across planning & forecasting controllership and reporting
- Strong understanding of IFRS financial controls and governance
- Proven leadership experience managing complex multilocation finance teams
- Professional qualification (ACCA CIMA CPA or equivalent)
- Experience operating within a hub / shared services / BPOsupported model
- Track record of finance transformation simplification and capability uplift
- Exposure to finance transformation simplification or systemenabled consolidation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in digital tools (Advanced Excel Power BI SAP SAC).
- Analysis for Office
- Power BI (plus)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP Workday).
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS internal controls and corporate finance.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Knowledge in AI
