Maintenance Assistant-FullTime Permanent

Reportingto the Maintenance Supervisor The MaintenanceAssistant is responsible for assisting with general maintenance duties at AVENS A Community for Seniors. This can be a Part time or Full time term permanent indicate when applying if you are looking for Part time or Full time. Dutieswill include general labour and repairs painting general landscapingequipment checks and preventative maintenance for our Aven Manor AvenCottages as well as our independent housing

Education and Experience Requirements

v Educationor training related to maintenance preference for plumbing mechanical andelectrical

v Abilityto lift up to 50 lbs

v Abilityto work outside for long periods of time and to work with limited supervision

v Mustbe able to obtain provide and maintain a satisfactory Vulnerable SectorCriminal Record Check

Pay and Benefits

SALARY: $30.32-34.39 per hour

PENSION PLAN: eligible after 12months of employment

GROUP BENEFITS: eligible after 3months of employment

VACATION: Collective Agreement governs how termvacation leave is allotted and administered
