Job Title: Associate Principal Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
Reports to: Campus Principal Pay Grade: Admin Pay 7

Supervises:
Primary Purpose: To work closely with the principal in directing and supervising a successful teaching-learning program within a specified campus.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Masters degree
- Mid-management certification
- ILD or AEL and T-Tess Certification
Special Knowledge Skills:
Experience:
- Successful teaching experience.
- Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer assigned personnel responsibilities in an efficient and orderly manner.
- Assume the responsibility for the proper maintenance and use of building facilities.
- Assume leadership in such student activities as assigned to him/her by the school principal.
- Serve as textbook custodian for a specified campus.
- Prepare and distribute a general bulletin each week.
- Assist the building principal in community information matters.
- Attend school functions as directed by the principal.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.
- Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards Policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise school transportation for the specified campus.
- Supervise the following: student insurance program data processing service student identification cards free and reduced lunch program.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional prolonged or irregular hours. Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards Policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
