This role plays a central part in balancing cost quality food safety and operational efficiency within a fast-paced food manufacturing addition this position provides day-to-day leadership coaching and support to the Customer Service / Logistics Coordinator fostering accountability collaboration and alignment with Mariposa Dairys operational and customer service ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Logistics: provide hands-on leadership as the company increases it focus on direct-to-customer orders & delivery:Provide direct leadership guidance and performance support to the Customer Service & Logistics CoordinatorImprove process to ensure world class levels of customer service including customer orders filled on time and in full Coordinate outbound shipments and delivery schedulesManage carrier and 3PL relationshipsResolve delivery and logistics issues as they ariseReport / Monitor and support freight cost controlSourcing Procurement & Inventory Management: provide effective planning execution and continuous improvement relating to the sourcing and purchasing of company materials & services:Source and purchase materials to meet production needsManage approved suppliers and monitor performanceNegotiate pricing terms and delivery schedulesEnsure suppliers and materials meet foodsafety and regulatory standardsMaintain accurate supplier and material documentationIdentify supply risks and support mitigation plansPlan monitor and maintain inventory levels to support productionMonitor inventory accuracy through reconciliations and cycle countsManage FIFO and shelf life of raw materials and finished goods to prevent wasteIdentify and reduce slowmoving or obsolete materialsAdministration & Compliance: ensure processes adhere to internal and external policies & compliance with foodsafety allergen and traceability internal and external auditsMaintain accurate ERP/MRP dataProduce basic supplychain and inventory reportsSupport cost tracking and continuousimprovement initiativesPerform additional responsibilities as requiredQualifications & RequirementsDiploma or degree in Supply Chain Business Operations or related field.35 years of combined procurement and/or production planning experience in food manufacturing or related or SCMA certification is an with ERP/MRP systems (Business Central).Strong Excel of BOMs yield loss capacity planning and supply chain negotiation communication and relationship-building -oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced production analytical and committed to continuous thank all applicants for their interest selected for an interview will be kindly ask you do notcontactus by offer of employment will be conditional uponsuccessfulreference checks and employment Dairy is committed to diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from individuals with disabilities.
