Project Manager

Job Description:

A Project Manager at Meyer Plastics Inc is responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion in a plastics manufacturing or packaging company. This role includes managing production runs new product development packaging design projects equipment installations and customer orders. The Project Manager ensures that projects are completed on time within budget and meet quality standards while coordinating between production engineering quality control supply chain and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan organize and manage manufacturing or packaging projects
• Coordinate with production engineering quality control and warehouse teams
• Track project timelines budgets and milestones
• Communicate with customers about project status and requirements
• Oversee new product development and packaging design launches
• Manage resources materials and scheduling for production runs
• Identify and resolve project delays or operational issues
• Ensure compliance with safety quality and industry standards
• Prepare project reports and updates for management
• Lead meetings and coordinate cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Supply Chain or related field (preferred)
• Experience in project management or manufacturing operations
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Project) or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in plastics manufacturing packaging or industrial production
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (a plus)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP Oracle etc.)
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge
• Strong understanding of production and supply chain processes
