Pendrich Height Services Ltd is part of the BAS division within the PTSG Group and provides specialist steeplejack and high-level maintenance services across the UK.

We work on a wide range of structures including industrial chimneys towers high-rise buildings monuments and bridges delivering safe and reliable solutions for inspection repair and maintenance.

The Role

We are looking to recruit IRATA Level 1 and Level 2 Rope Access Technicians for a 3-month temporary contract on the Newport 7 Power Station site.

This role will involve carrying out painting and steelwork maintenance using rope access techniques ensuring all work is completed safely efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out building maintenance works at height using IRATA rope access methods

• Undertake inspections and maintenance of building exteriors including cleaning painting fabric repairs glazing and mastic works

• Inspect and maintain rope access equipment reporting any defects

• Ensure all equipment is certified and fit for use

• Complete site assessments and follow safe systems of work

• Work closely with colleagues to complete jobs efficiently

• Maintain accurate records of works completed and safety checks

• Communicate professionally with clients and site contacts

Requirements

• Valid IRATA Level 1 or 2 certification

• 23 years experience in rope access and building maintenance

• Good understanding of health & safety and working at height

• Physically fit and comfortable working in demanding environments

• Experience in general maintenance disciplines

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
