Were looking for an experienced Methods Agent with a strong aerospace background to support manufacturing and assembly operations from day one in Montreal. The ideal candidate brings hands-on methods engineering experience a solid understanding of aircraft structures and the ability to work cross-functionally with minimal supervision.
What youll do
- Write revise and approve technical process sheets and assembly or manufacturing instruction guides for aircraft components
- Interpret and verify engineering drawings and related documentation
- Develop detail and assembly manufacturing strategies for aircraft sheet metal and machined components
- Support engineering change implementation in collaboration with Engineering Quality Logistics and Production teams
- Prepare conditions of supply for detailed and assembly parts using Catia V5
- Participate in periodic internal and external reviews
- Liaise with departments including NC programming Production Purchase and Quality
What you bring
- 6 years of experience in the aerospace or aircraft industry covering design and manufacturing methods
- Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing or methods engineering role with shop floor exposure
- Knowledge of aircraft primary and secondary structures systems and electrical
- Understanding of metallic and composite manufacturing and assembly techniques
- Knowledge of aircraft materials heat treatment and special processes
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines with minimal guidance
Nice to have
- Experience with Catia V5 for conditions of supply preparation
- Exposure to aircraft electrical systems
- Background in project management or client-facing roles within aerospace manufacturing
Work setup
- Onsite in Montreal QC from day one
