Role Summary
Cognizant is seeking an experienced AWS Enterprise / Solutions Architect to support Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) initiatives. The architect will be responsible for defining AWS cloud architecture governance and enterprise guardrails ensuring alignment with AWS best practices and client standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead AWS landing zone and Control Tower / AFT assessments and improvements
- Define multi-account strategy environment separation and shared services model
- Design IAM architecture including roles permission boundaries and AWS Identity Center integration
- Define network architecture segmentation routing and connectivity guardrails
- Establish enterprise tagging naming standards and security/compliance guardrails (SCP intent)
- Create and maintain AWS reference architectures and golden paths (EC2 ECS EKS Serverless)
- Define policy-as-code intent in collaboration with DevOps teams
- Provide architectural guidance for DR resilience RTO/RPO and SRE fundamentals
- Review designs and provide architectural oversight for AWS workloads
- Develop COE documentation standards and onboarding materials

Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (preferred)
