Senior Data Architect

Enterprise Data Architecture & Strategy

• Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures leveraging Snowflake Azure dbt Power BI SQL Server Dagster Fivetran and Python-based frameworks.
• Architect modern cloud-native data platforms including ingestion ETL/ELT pipelines lakehouse/data warehouse environments semantic layers and enterprise reporting ecosystems.
• Define end-to-end reference architectures emphasizing scalability governance security performance optimization and reusability.
• Lead enterprise data modeling initiatives supporting analytics operational reporting forecasting and executive decision-making.
• Establish architecture standards development frameworks naming conventions lineage tracking metadata management and governance policies.
• Partner with client stakeholders to modernize legacy BI and data platforms into scalable cloud-first architectures.

Client Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders product owners and technology stakeholders.
• Lead discovery sessions architecture workshops requirements gathering and solution roadmap discussions.
• Translate business priorities into scalable technical architectures and actionable implementation plans.
• Provide strategic guidance on analytics maturity cloud modernization governance data quality automation and operational efficiency.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and architecture decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional client and internal teams in fast-paced consulting engagements.

Data Engineering & Cloud Platform Enablement

• Architect and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt Dagster Fivetran Python and SQL-based transformation frameworks.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade Snowflake data warehouse solutions including workload optimization secure data sharing clustering performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Build and optimize modern orchestration and workflow frameworks using Dagster and cloud-native data engineering best practices.
• Design reusable and governed data models supporting self-service analytics and enterprise reporting.
• Develop scalable Power BI dashboards semantic models KPIs reusable measures and executive reporting solutions.
• Implement advanced performance optimization strategies including partitioning incremental refresh indexing caching and query optimization.
• Develop and maintain advanced SQL dbt models Python scripts and data transformation workflows.
• Ensure data accuracy integrity validation observability and governance across enterprise platforms.

Analytics Reporting & Decision Support

• Translate business requirements into actionable analytics and reporting solutions.
• Support advanced analytics initiatives including forecasting trend analysis scenario modeling and operational insights.
• Develop meaningful data stories and executive-level reporting narratives that drive strategic decisions.
• Enable self-service BI capabilities and scalable reporting frameworks across business functions.
• Drive adoption of analytics platforms through training sessions workshops and stakeholder enablement initiatives.

Governance Standards & Delivery Leadership

• Establish and enforce development standards CI/CD practices testing methodologies release management and DevOps processes.
• Lead architecture governance and technical documentation efforts including solution diagrams data flows operational runbooks and platform standards.
• Collaborate with engineering analytics and business teams to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Mentor developers engineers analysts and junior architects on cloud architecture and engineering best practices.
• Promote data governance security compliance and operational excellence across all initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Analytics or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 7 years of experience in Data Architecture Cloud Data Engineering BI or Analytics roles.
• Strong consulting experience with direct client-facing engagement and stakeholder management.

• Strong understanding of data governance security lineage and observability frameworks.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices within modern data platforms.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable enterprise data solutions.
• Excellent communication presentation facilitation and executive engagement skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and enterprise transformation programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core or Advanced Architect) preferred.
• Microsoft Azure Power BI or Fabric certifications preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Industry experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Manufacturing Supply Chain Retail or Food Manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks observability platforms and advanced analytics methodologies.
