The Opportunity
Carlson Construction Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HSE Administrator to support one of our exciting project sites in North Vancouver. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining our strong safety culture while contributing to a major project in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time fixed-term 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The role follows a 10-day on / 4 days off rotation with 10-hour workdays and is based locally in North Vancouver.

About the Role
The HSE Administrator plays a critical role in supporting compliance documentation and overall health safety and environmental performance on site.
You will work closely with the on-site HSE team project leadership and HR to ensure safe operations and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Maintain and track accident incident and safety statistics including violations
- Review safety documentation for accuracy and provide feedback
- Track and monitor safety training for employees and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with all required HSE documentation and processes
- Notify management of any issues that may impact safety or performance
- Support HSE Managers and collaborate with Human Resources as needed
- Promote and uphold all HSE policies procedures and standards
- Participate in site activities and safety planning initiatives
- Assist with audits claims management and injury files
- Prepare and proofread reports presentations and correspondence
- Support client HSE materials and prequalification submissions
- Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
- Maintain confidential departmental and project records
- Perform general administrative duties (filing scanning photocopying etc.)

- Experience in construction or HSE administration is an asset
