A leading organisation is recruiting for a Product Specialist: Savings Products on behalf of a client seeking an experienced and commercially minded professional to take ownership of a dynamic savings product portfolio. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance customer-centric innovation with strong commercial and regulatory oversight.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the savings product strategy driving product development enhancing customer journeys and delivering sustainable portfolio growth.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams this individual will play a key role in identifying market opportunities improving digital adoption and ensuring seamless product delivery across multiple channels.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in product lifecycle management within the financial services industry particularly within savings deposits retail banking or investment environments.
• A proven track record in stakeholder management data-driven decision-making customer journey optimisation and agile product delivery will be essential.
• Exposure to regulatory frameworks including FAIS POPIA and Treating Customers Fairly principles is highly advantageous.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics Sciences or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Actuarial Science qualification advantageous.
• Minimum of 810 years experience in product management within financial services.
• Strong understanding of savings products retail banking or investment products.
• Proven experience in product development sales growth strategies and digital product enhancements.
• Excellent analytical stakeholder engagement communication and strategic thinking skills.
