Asan Infantand Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (IECMHC)youare responsibleforproviding early childhood mental health consultation support to home visitors childcare center staff children and families. The IECMHC willprovidea broad range of services including early childhood mental health consultation in classrooms and through home visits; training and coaching staff; screening assessment and referral services; promotion and marketing of group services; and providing parent training. The IECMHC supports caregivers and providers inidentifyingand addressing early signs of environmental relational and behavioral concernsin order toprevent escalation promote healthy relationships and reduce negative behaviors and symptoms in early childhood. The IECMHC will alsomaintainclient records and documentation of consultation services in complianceofall performance standards and state regulations.
Minimum Education: Masters degree in counselingrelated field
Preferences:Experience working with families with young children infant and early childhood mental health consultation model Infant Mental Health Reflective Supervision Group Parent Education settings Trust Based Relational Intervention preferred.
Defined Experience:Two (2) years in early childhood preferred
License/Certifications:Intern statuslicenses suchas LPC-I LMFT-A and/or LMSW in the state of Texas. Texas drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
