Project Management Specialist

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Project Management Specialist (Level 3) to join the H-47 program team in Ridley Park Pa.

This role requires working collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic production environment to support helicopter deliveries and customer mission readiness. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership creativity and cross-functional coordination with proven ability to drive execution prioritize competing demands and manage multiple priorities to deliver timely high-quality production deliverables.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Track progress of production cost schedule and technical performance using Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Analyze business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and to develop and implement solutions that meet the needs of the organization
  • Collects organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs customer and supplier commitments and compliance
  • Leads the development of program metrics and Key Performance Indicators
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customers stakeholders and peers.
  • Partner with program and functional leaders to shape and compile critical supplier program customer and leadership presentations or messaging

This position is 100% onsite.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience leading projects or programs
  • Experience developing presentations and presenting to senior leaders and executives
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working across multiple programs and/or functions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience working directly with or briefing US Army customers
  • Experience performing in an operations program management engineering supply chain or project management role
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects plans and initiatives to meet business goals.

Relocation:

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
